WVU to Conduct Coal Research for U.S.-China Energy Partnership

West Virginia University's (WVU) U.S.-China Energy Center recently won a government contract to research coal power, according to a press release. Energy experts and government officials from the U.S. and China who participate in the research may want to find an extended stay hotel in Morgantown, West Virginia.

One of the top extended stay hotels in the area is the Residence Inn by Marriott - Morgantown. The suites at the Residence Inn are 50 percent bigger than rooms at a standard hotel, and each suite includes a fully equipped kitchen and separate living and sleeping areas.

Guests at the hotel have free access to laundry facilities and an indoor pool. Other amenities include a free daily hot breakfast and evening receptions held Mondays through Thursdays.

The hotel is very close to the university, and WVU's football stadium is directly across the street. Additionally, important companies and organizations within walking distance include the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, Mylan Pharmaceuticals and Monongalia General Hospital.

A one-week stay in February at the Residence Inn by Marriott - Morgantown starts from $149 per night.
