Toyota to Open Safety Research Center in Ann Arbor MI

Japanese carmaker Toyota is expected to open a new safety research center in Ann Arbor, Michigan, that will collaborate with a wide range of hospitals, universities, federal agencies and other organizations, reports U.S. News and World Report. People working at the new center may be interested in booking an extended stay hotel in Ann Arbor.

One such hotel is the Extended Stay America Detroit-Ann Arbor. All rooms have a full kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, microwave and stovetop, and guests can eat in their rooms using the provided dining and cooking utensils.

Rooms also include a designated workspace for travelers conducting business during their stay. From the rooms' workspaces, travelers can make free local phone calls, and the hotel also provides personalized voice mail. Wireless internet can be obtained for a one-time charge of $4.99 per stay.

The hotel, which is located at 1501 Briarwood Circle Drive, also gives guests access to the nearby Ford Field, home to the professional Detroit Lions football team. Both the Detroit and Ann Arbor airports are within easy driving distance, as are several restaurants, major stores, pharmacies and fitness clubs.

A one-week stay in February at the Extended Stay America Detroit-Ann Arbor starts from $53 per night.
