One of the country's premier equestrian events, the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show, will draw horse trainers, breeders and enthusiasts alike to the Arizona city from February 17-27 for 11 days of events, contests and fun. Every condo has a kitchen equipped with an oven and range, a microwave, a dishwasher, a full-size refrigerator and freezer with an icemaker, and an array of smaller appliances, tableware and utensils.
Next to the kitchen is a dining room that features a table with room for either four or six people, depending on the size of the condo, and a phone with free local and toll-free calling. Condos also include laundry rooms equipped with full-size washers and dryers as well as irons and ironing boards.
The bedrooms in every condo include walk-in closets, and guests can arrange to stay in rooms with either one king-size or two twin beds. Each condo's master bedroom has a TV equipped with cable and a VCR.
Every condo's living room features a 32-inch flat-panel LCD TV mounted on the wall as well as a sofa, while two- and three-bedroom condos also have a loveseat. The living room also has space for using an included inflatable queen-size mattress and an adjoining patio or balcony.
Ray adds that the hotel's most popular amenity is not in the condos themselves, saying that his favorite thing about the Meridian CondoResorts is its heated swimming pool. The hotel also provides guests access to a fitness center, whirlpool spas, gas barbeque grills, saunas, lighted tennis and volleyball courts and a clubhouse area that can be rented out for parties.
The hotel's location makes it convenient for guests attending the Arabian Horse Show. Visitors to the show can attend several different kinds of equestrian competition, including dressage, side saddle and horse-in-hand. Show attendees can also participate in contests, like the art contest for children and the photography contest for adults.
