Avid readers can discuss some of their favorite books as they relax in the sun at the 29th annual Key West Literary Seminar, held from January 6-16, 2011. The subject of the seminar this year is "An Exploration of Food in Literature," and those who wish to participate in every part of the meeting may want to book a condo hotel in Key West.
As one option, these travelers can stay at the Villas Key West. Manager Sam Dickson says that the hotel's guests overwhelmingly come to Key West for leisure and that approximately 25-30 percent of visitors stay for an extended period of time. He touted the hotel's large, apartment-style units, all but two of which feature a full kitchen that allows tourists to cook their own meals.
Dickson added that the Villas Key West's biggest draw is its "unsurpassed location in the middle of Old Town." He said that the hotel's spot half a block away from Duval Street offers guests a nice balance, as it is "just far enough to be insulated from the revelry... but [guests] can walk to Duval Street in 30 seconds."
A one-week stay in January at the Villas Key West starts from $235 per night.
