The 23rd Annual North American International Auto Show is set to begin in Detroit, Michigan, and the specatcle is expected to rebound after the economic recession led to a few years of austere showings. Auto enthusiasts who want to see every last vehicle should book an extended stay hotel in Detroit in order to remain through the entire show.
One extended stay hotel situated in the heart of auto country is the TownePlace Suites Detroit Dearborn. According to Joel Carver, the vice president of hotel operator CSM Lodging, says that the TownePlace Suites offers a "boatload" of advantages over traditional hotels. Every suite in the hotel features separate living and working areas, with each living area including a fully equipped kitchen fitted with a full-size refrigerator. Carver adds that the comfortable rooms "[make] it easy to relax at night."
Meanwhile, the 88 percent of the hotel's visitors who come to Detroit on business will enjoy what Carver calls a "true work environment." Complimentary wireless high-speed internet and an "ergonomically efficient workspace" make each suite a great place to carry out important business.
A one-week stay in January at the TownePlace Suites Detroit Dearborn starts at $109 per night.
