26 Apr 2010

Some people think the beach is the perfect summer getaway, but why not celebrate summer nights in the city that doesn't sleep? There's no place like New York, New York for round-the-clock cultural attractions.

Whether you have a summer vacation or need to work, the Big Apple can be the perfect travel destination. Right now New York is ideal for those looking to mix business and pleasure. BizJournals.com reports that business formation is on the rise in NYC.

Almost any executive can find prospective business partners in the city. Plus, it's a good way to test the strength of a company - as they say, business executives who "can make it there can make it anywhere."

Those who must work all day can still explore the city by night, and those who have more leisure time will never get bored in New York.

Worried about breaking a budget? No need. The city is notoriously expensive, but it offers plenty of free fun during the warm summer months. Visitors can people watch in Central Park or ride the outdoor Ferris wheel at Bryant Park. Plus, there are endless street fairs to stumble upon as well as free outdoor concerts all summer long.

Another way to stay on budget is to consider Manhattan corporate housing options. Visitors can stay longer for less and get to feel at home at a wide selection of extended-stay apartments and hotels.

While many NYC residents live in minuscule spaces, Churchill Corporate Housing offers guests comfortable bedrooms, a living space and a full kitchen and dining area. Guests can rent a one bedroom apartment through Churchill Corporate Housing for as little as $174 per night. Studios offered by the housing provider can cost as little as $144 per night. Notably, Churchill Corporate Housing executive vice president Jeff Mahoney says these are the most popular apartment sizes among guests.

Churchill offers apartments throughout Manhattan so visitors can choose the New York experience they want. Mahoney says the most popular locations are in Midtown and Chelsea, but guests can even get deals to stay at world-renowned hotels like the Plaza through Churchill.

The minimum stay for New York visitors in these apartments is 30 days - a city regulation.

Mahoney says many guests stay longer. In fact, the average length of stay at a Churchill apartment in Manhattan is 113 days. According to Mahoney, top customers are business executives who are relocating to New York City, closely followed by businesspeople in town for short-term assignments, like engineering or consulting.

Still, not all Churchill guests are in town on business. Leisure travelers might feel at home with Churchill Corporate Housing as Mahoney says a number of patrons are European travelers on extended vacations. Other guests literally call the apartments home in the aftermath of catastrophes or during home remodeling projects.

No matter why they stay at Churchill, guests say they love these apartments because of the variety of locations, luxury of the buildings and flexibility of the services with respect to customer needs and lengths of stay. Plus, Mahoney says Churchill Corporate Housing boasts excellent customer service and consistently receives good reviews from guests.
