Marriott recently announced the opening of the Residence Inn Arlington Capital View, a new addition to the extended stay hotels in Arlington, Virginia, according to a company press release.
The new hotel was designed to cater to business travelers working on a temporary basis in Washington, D.C. and its Virginia suburbs. The facility features 325 guest suites, each of which has a full kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. These units feature separate living and sleeping areas in addition to flat-screen TVs and free wireless internet.
Other amenities at the hotel include a library, an outdoor fire pit, free daily hot breakfast, a grocery delivery service, a state-of-the-art business center and an evening social hour where guests can mingle.
The Residence Inn Arlington Capital View shares a swimming pool and a 2,500-square-foot fitness center with the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel, an adjacent luxury hotel that opened at the same time.
Companies, organizations and government agencies with offices near the new hotel include PBS, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, the Pentagon and the Environmental Protection Agency.
A one-week stay in April at the Residence Inn Arlington Capital View starts from $269 per night.
