Those looking for an extended stay hotel in Lawton, Oklahoma will applaud the opening of the Candlewood Suites Lawton-Fort Sill, which began accepting guests on December 14.
Stephen Woodham, the regional director of hotel operator KJ Hotels, says that the response to the new extended stay hotel has been "great."
Woodham said that the full kitchens in every room at the Candlewood Suites Lawton-Fort Sill are what set the hotel apart from more traditional accommodations and that the kitchens allow guests to enjoy "all the comforts of home on the road."
The new extended stay hotel offers a wide range of amenities, with Woodham describing it as "like an apartment complex under one roof with benefits." Some of those benefits include a gym, laundry services, a small market, a video library and a gazebo with grills.
The hotel also attracts guests with its convenient location near Fort Sill Army Base and offices of Raytheon, Goodyear and Halliburton.
A one-week stay in January at the Candlewood Suites Lawton-Fort Sill starts from $100 per night.
