New Candlewood Suites Hotel to Open in Avondale Louisiana in May

There is a new addition to extended stay hotels in New Orleans' West Bank thanks to the upcoming May opening of the Candlewood Suites Avondale-New Orleans.

Guests at the new hotel will stay in rooms equipped with full kitchens, which will allow visitors to cook their own meals instead of going out to eat. Each room also features several entertainment options, including high-speed internet, expanded high-definition cable and a DVD player.

The Candlewood Suites Avondale-New Orleans will also offer guests access to the Candlewood Cupboard, an on-site convenience store that will be open 24 hours each day and will sell a range of snacks. Visitors to the hotel will also be able to make use of the on-site outdoor pool and hold a cook-out at a gazebo.

Business travelers will enjoy the hotel's proximity to a range of important local companies, including Northrup Grumman, Union Pacific, BNSF and Monsanto Chemical Supply. Other nearby facilities include Waterford 3 Nuclear Plant and Belle Chase Naval Base. Guests can enjoy local entertainment and leisure options, such as Bayou Segnette State Park and the Boomtown Casino.

A one-week stay in May at the Candlewood Suites Avondale-New Orleans starts at $110 per night.
