Gilead Sciences, a research firm based in Foster City, California, has recently announced that it will collaborate with the Yale School of Medicine to develop a range of new cancer therapies over the next four years, according to a press release. Scientists who will be traveling to Yale to conduct research - as well as people who will be going to the region for any other reason - may be interested in booking an extended stay hotel in New Haven CT.

According to Mariann Aherne, the general manager of the property, the facility is the only all-suite hotel in New Haven. Other in-room amenities that are popular with guests include the 32-inch flat-screen TVs, granite countertops in the bathroom, workspace areas and pillow-top beds. Most of the suites at the facility also include a fireplace, allowing travelers to feel more at home.
Aherne also pointed out that the hotel offers several other amenities to its guests. People who stay at the Premiere Hotel and Suites can enjoy a free hot breakfast buffet every morning, while a free hot dinner is provided four evenings each week. Visitors are also able to take advantage of free internet access, free parking, a fitness center, a mini-market and a daily housekeeping service.
Guests at the Premiere Hotel and Suites will also appreciate the facility's convenient location in the heart of New Haven. The hotel is situated just one mile from Yale University and the city's Amtrak station and 4.5 miles from the regional airport. Guests can make use of a free shuttle service, which operates to the airport, train station and other attractions within a five-mile radius of the hotel.
A one-week stay in May at the Premiere Hotel and Suites starts from $111 per night.
