Santa Fe
|
Holiday Inn Express - Cerrillos in Santa Fe is affiliated with InterContinental, and can be found on Biz-stay.com's
Santa Fe Suite Hotel page. It was reviewed in July 2006. Our
suite with one king bed plus sleeper sofa was booked online at a nightly rate of $129.99 (high season), gauranteed to be the lowest rate available.
This hotel met expectations for a mid-priced chain.
- Decor: Simple, but attractive. Rating of 4 (on scale of 1 to 5).
- Lighting: Good. Several lamps throughout the room, but none were connected to a light switch. There was a ceiling light by the door.
Rating of 4.
- Comfort: The bed was firm, and the sofa with coffee and end tables made for a comfortable stay. The TV was on a swivel enabling you to
watch TV from the sofa or from bed. Rating of 4.
- Upkeep: Very clean. Rating of 5.
- Service: The clerk rushed through check-in, gave wrong directions to the room, and then walked away when we tried asking for clarification.
Rating of 2.
- Breakfast: Breakfast was very good! Omelets and bacon, pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, milk and coffee. Rating of 5.
- Other: Mini refrigerator and microwave worked well, but a wet bar and counter space would have been very useful. Writing desk and tables
were convenient. Onsite, there was a business center and outdoor pool. Location is convenient to I-25 and easy to find, but it is about 5 miles southwest of the Plaza.

Albuquerque Suite Hotel page. It was reviewed in August 2005. Our
one-bedroom apartment suite with two double beds was booked online at a nightly rate of $99 (weekend). Homewood Suites is an extended
stay hotel chain, so travelers get much lower rates for longer stays. This hotel met expectations for an upscale extended stay chain.
- Decor: Nice colors, traditional. Rating of 4 (on scale of 1 to 5).
- Lighting: Great light. Rating of 5.
- Comfort: Comfortable beds, including the sofa bed. Rating of 4.
- Upkeep: Very clean. Rating of 5.
- Service: Very friendly, receipt was pushed under the door in the morning for quick check-out. Rating of 4.
- Breakfast: Hot buffet (biscuits & gravy, eggs, bacon, cereal, toast, bagels, French toast, fruit, yogurt, juice, milk,
coffee, hot cocoa. Rating of 4.
- Other: Outdoor pool (heated), coin-operated laundry, fitness room, computer room (off of the lobby). Access to internet
in room, even without a laptop. Kitchen had a stovetop, microwave,
fridge, dishwasher. TV in each room. We were on the 5th floor and the windows opened and did not have screens (very dangerous with young
kids). Manager's reception Monday through Thursday with a light meal. Convenience store onsite.
