meaningful price comparison, we recorded the best available daily rates (based on a weekly stay) at all hotels for the same time
period - a stay from January 5 to January 12, 2015. The studio suites in our rate survey all have fully-equipped kitchens, including (at a minimum) a refrigerator, sink,
microwave and stovetop. Studios have living and sleeping areas combined in one room. Most hotels also offer 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom suites
with separate kitchens/living rooms. Two-bedroom suites usually have two bathrooms. High-speed Internet access is included in the
price at all hotels included in this survey. All but Candlewood Suites provide free breakfast.
In all, we checked rates for 53 hotels in 26 Canadian market
areas. Rates below are in Canadian Dollars. Note that many hotels offer even lower rates for month stays (30 days or longer). In some areas, there
is more than one hotel of a particular brand. When these hotels charge different rates, we provide a price
