meaningful price comparison, we recorded the best available daily rates (based on a weekly stay) at all hotels for the same time
period - a stay from 17 December to 24 December 2005. The suites in our rate survey all have fully-equipped kitchens, including (at a minimum) a refrigerator, sink,
microwave and stovetop. Studios have living and sleeping areas combined in one room. One-bedroom suites ("1 BR") have a separate bedroom.
Two-bedroom suites ("2 BR") have two separate bedrooms, and usually two bathrooms. Breakfast buffets are included in the price at all hotels
included in this survey.
In all, we checked rates for 20 properties in 12 Canadian market
areas. Rates below are in Canadian Dollars. Note that many hotels offer even lower rates for month stays (30 days or longer). In some areas, there
is more than one hotel of a particular brand. When these hotels charge different rates, we provide a price
range. When there is no vacancy for the particular
suite type, this is indicated by "nv". Clicking on the province and city links
