Edmonton Alberta Welcomes New MainStay Suites

Choice Hotels International, a hotel company that operates chains like Comfort Suites, Sleep Inn and Cambria Suites, recently announced the opening of a new extended stay hotel in Edmonton, Alberta, its first such franchise in Canada.

The new MainStay Suites East Edmonton/Sherwood Park is comprised entirely of suites. Every room in the hotel has a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, a freezer, a two-burner cooktop and a full set of utensils and flatware. Guests can relax with the 37-inch flat-screen TV in each room, and business travelers can work in the business center that features computers, a meeting room and copy and fax service.

Other hotel amenities include free high-speed wireless internet access, a free continental breakfast, a fitness center and weekly housekeeping services. People traveling with their pets are also welcome.

Visitors to Edmonton will enjoy the hotel's location near many restaurants, golf courses and even Rexall Place, the home of the Edmonton Oilers hockey team.

A one-week stay in February at the MainStay Suites East Edmonton/Sherwood Park starts from $110 per night.
